The ICCBA is formed and registered as an Association under the law of The Netherlands.
The ICCBA is an independent professional association representing the interests of List Counsel and their Assistants practising before the International Criminal Court (ICC).
On 1 June 2016 members chose David Hooper as the first president of the ICCBA during the General Assembly at the ICC in The Hague, The Netherlands.

L’ABCPI est formée et enregistrée comme une association en vertu de la loi des Pays-Bas . L’ABCPI est une association professionnelle indépendante représentant les intérêts des conseils principals et leurs assistants exerçant devant la Cour Pénale Internationale (CPI ) .
Le 1er Juin 2016 les membres ont choisi David Hooper comme le premier président de l’ ABCPI, lors de l’assemblée générale à la CPI à La Haye , Pays-Bas .
